In
December of 2001, Buse Industries was acquired by Connection Concepts
Holding Company of Naperville, IL. Connection Concepts plan is
to acquire well managed cable harness manufacturing, mechanical
sub-assembly and distribution companies. The acquisitions will
generate synergies, and thereby provide increased value to their
customer base. To date, Connection Concepts Holding Company has
completed three acquisitions. Their first purchase was Connection
Concepts Inc., which manufactures fiber optic and coaxial cable
assemblies for the telecom and OEM markets. Subsequently, Buse
Industries and Lectronix Plus were acquired. Buse Industries manufactures
cable assemblies for the industrial, aerospace,
and medical industry. Lectronix Plus is a value-added distributor
of interconnect products servicing the industrial and aerospace
market. Additional acquisitions are planned, which when complete
will make Connection Concepts a leading, versatile manufacturer
in the wire and cable harness industry with distribution and inventory
management expertise.
In 2001 Buse Industries established manufacturing capabilities
in the Far East. This expansion has allowed us to capture additional
business while offering our customers supply chain management
services and F.O.B. USA shipments and payment terms.
